Mechanical exfoliants is a method to physically rub dead cells off of the skin.  The granular scrubs are used after cleansing one to two times a week.  Avoid if skin conditions are sensitive, acne prone, easily to redden, medically treated with retinoic acid or Retin-A, alpha hydroxy acid (AHAs),
or salicylic acid.  After put on a SPF moisturizer to protect skin from sun damage.
